LS7 MAF with LS2 E40 ECM

Default LS7 MAF with LS2 E40 ECM

Has anyone had success in using the "credit card" slot style LS7 MAF electronics in an LS2 E40 ECM (TBSS in this case) application? I've fabricated a 3" tube from the intercooler on my AWD TBSS with an integrated MAF flange for the LS7 electronics. I did this mostly for packaging reasons, I figured the LS7 MAF electronics had a fair amount of range (seeing the stock car makes 450 rwhp), but I'm not sure how much I'll diminish the range when it's stuffed in a 3" tube. I've got the pin out changes handled at the MAF connector, so from there, I figure I'll copy in the LS7 MAF xfer function, whack it down by 15-20%, and then trim from there.

Any thoughts or feedback?

I've tuned one on a TBSS with a 4 inch MAF tube. very easy if you just go that route as the standard table values offered from LPE make it a pretty close fit. You can do what you're talking about.... but expect more trial and error to get it right.
