AC not working: L76 to firewall vaccuum question
AC not working: L76 to firewall vaccuum question I had my motor installed with the L92/L76 combo. I am not making enough vaccuum for the ac to blow out of the top face vents. My installer told me it was a vaccuum issue. He wanted me to post on here to ask about the vaccuum lines. There is a line going from the firewall to the TB, he put a t in it originally and needs to know where it goes. Pretty much, a vaccuum scematic would be ideal, but if you could just tell me where the vaccuum lines go from the firewall on the L76 equipped cars it'd be appreciated. Thanks

A/C Vac Line Are you sure you have the correct line?
There is a small black vac line that was attached to the rear of the LSx intake on my '00 C5. I got some line adapters and plugged it into the rear of the L76 intake.

That line on the back of the intake may have a tab from the mold that must be broken off to attach the line to the heater/AC. At least that is the case on C5s.
