1-5/8" headers on an LS2
I'm running an LS2 swap and my primaries measure 1 5/8". They are also mid length tubes ( they go to a Flowmaster Y-pipe and then into a single 3" catless to a straighthru Magnaflow). How much power do you think I'm leaving on the table with this setup, as opposed to let's say 1 3/4 LT's?
I'd greatly appreciate any input.

That entirely depends on how much air you are moving.
If this engine is capable of 500hp then you could be losing 40hp off headers that are too small. If it's near stock power output you may be losing very little and maybe none at all in some places in the rev range.
If you are just flat stuck with your header size then consider getting with someone that can custom spec a cam that can account for this. A cam that is designed with this situation in mind will result in a much better set-up than one that is not.
