Default LSX Intake color change options?????

I know I've seen in before on this but I'd like to change the color of my LS7 intake and I'm looking for a good product or process to do so. Powder coat like or high temp paint a I'd have the valve covers painted to match as well.

anyone have any suggestions?

This was one of the most time consuming pieces I ever painted. Maybe I was being a little too obsessive but it took about 25 labor hours start to finish not including remove and install. It sure came out nice though! Here is a link to some pictures:

This is in House of Kolor midnight blue. Most of the time is spent smoothing the plastic which has a texture. I sanded it with 180 paper to get it smooth. Then two wet coats of primer. Wet sanded those. Then one coat of black base coat, three of color, three of clear. Then I wet sanded the clear with 2000/3000 and buffed it.

Thinking back I must have been a little crazy. Also the parts on the sides where the injectors go is not visialbe installed but takes a ton of time.

Outstanding job on the intake and the rest of the build so far. The detail on the frame, fuel tank, etc. are quite good. If the car turns out as good as the intake you will have a winner. Nice job!!!!!

Intake ( and the car) look really nice. Thanks for the heads up on how you go that beauty where it is. One I decide on valve covers I'll have the body shop down the road finish them off after I do some prep work. I guess the materals don't have to be High temp.
