Default ls1 to ls2 help!

Alright fellas, I need some input!

I've gotta truck with a 6.0 liter engine that has bit the dust (knocking).

I've also got a lead on a 6.2 LS2, L92 engine that I can get my hands on pretty reasonible ($)!

Decisions…….Is it going to be worth it to buy the L92 engine and put it into my truck with more power, or rebuild the stocker (if block is good).

Problems

I know that the LS2 has the 58 tooth reluctor wheel on the crank, and my 6.0 has the 24 tooth, which I’m not sure if just a newer PCM swap will take care of? Will the wiring harness plug n play into the new PCM…..?

I also saw where the knock sensors will have to be moved to the block.

Both of these engines will be from trucks, and I know I'll have to buy a throttle body for the l92 engine for cable operation…..or is that going to give the new PCM the fits without the gas petal?

Any input welcome.
