Default Front & rear covers for Ls2

can anyone tell me if the front & rear covers for the 00 Ls1 block ,came out of an 00 c5 ,will fit the front & rear 05 Ls2 block ? trying to put an Tsp 402 together ,also the Oil pan i have is for an 00 c5 ,anyone know if i can use a Ls2 oil pan to fit a c5 corvette ?i am pretty sure the Ls1 ,the one i have for the 00 vette will work ,i just wanted to gain an xtra quart of oil for the Ls2,i appreciate any feedback guys u can give me ,have a good day

every thing will bolt on BUT you will need a LS2 valley cover and LS2 front cover because of the cam sensor is moved to the front cover and the valley cover has no holes for the knock sensor and the oil sending unit is mounted on the cover as well, you will haft to move the knock sensors to the side of the block right in front of the motor mounts, and you will haft to run a LS2 timing chain and gears because of the cam sensor.

I have the 05 LS2 block in my car right now its a stocker 418cid and yes the rear cover will fit there is no differance in the LS1 & LS2 rear cover the oil pan will bolt up to.

Thanks bro,How do u like your new found torque compared to the 346 ?Did u run the same setup on the 418 as u did on the 346 ?Have u took the car to the dragstrip with the new set up ?sorry for so many questions ,i am excited about getting the 402 in my car ,Along with the Novi 2k it should pull like a raped ape

I had a 347 stroker before the 418 and the 347 is like a four cylinder compaired to the 418. you can see build it in my sig. The torque is ungodly I working on a LS3 433 for the winter cant wait.
