LM1 / 408 .. anyone?

I have a 408 build coming together and I'm planning on running 1 7/8 LT's w/ a catted Y and hooking it up to my loud mouth 1.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experience?

why cats?

I am looking at doing almost the same thing, but I wouldn't go with the loudmouth, I would look for a good deal on magnaflow, corsa, or GMMG.

If you are dead set on running the loud mouth, please keep the cats! Otherwise it will sound even worse.

I have to have cats, no way around that. I have the highest (advertised) flowing ones I could get.

I already have the LM1 so, I'm gonna' find out soon enough anyway. However, I do have long term plans of going 2 1/2" duals over the axle. I figured she's not going to get any quieter

but I'm ok with that. I am a little concerned about how much power I'd be leaving on the table though

It will be so loud your ears will bleed. I have GMMG on my 408 and it was ungodly loud (and not in a good way). I am getting my dual/dual muffler welded in tomorrow hopefully.
