Default T56 Differences; ls2/ls1

I just bought a 06 Corvette LS2. I'm in need of a t56 to compliment the engine, will any t56 from ls1/ls2 work provided that I get the correct flywheel and clutch.

If going into anything other than a Corvette, you'll want a GTO or 98+ F-Body T56.

FYI, The LS7 clutch requires an LS2 flywheel. I think any T56 with a chevy bell housing should work.

What's the difference between the LS1 and LS2 flywheel?
I'm doing an LS364 project and assume that uses the LS2 flywheel. I thought either the F body LS1 or vette LS2 clutch would work.

The ls1 flywheel is flat, the ls2 flywheel is stepped.
