nobody seems to be camming the stock 6.2 l92 engines. everyone is camming strokers with l92 heads. ls3's are 6.2 but the pistons are different. so you're not gonna get any info there. i've searched and searched but no info.

This should help. Let me know if you try one.

Thanks for your email. The first thing that could be changed is the cam. The 6.2 comes with a variable cam timing set up. A cam up grade would do wonders. We have available 2008 CNC heads that allows the engine to breath better. The cam would be my first choice. Any ecm performance programming up grade would be necessary with a cam change and would improve performance. These changes however will mess with emissions. If you are street rodding, no problem. If you are up grading, depends on where you are located.

Hope this helps,

Robert

But in reality, why would you want to delete the VVT? It gives both torque and hp vs a typical cam that has to sacrifice one for the other.

What headers CAI and which tune did you get? How about the performance gain noticed? I am about to go the same path.

JBA headers, Volant air box, Corsa exhaust, Msd wires, I will ask on monday what tune they used. I had everything put on before i picked up the truck so don't notice a difference, Feels strong however.
I have a couple races lined up to see where the truck stands
2007 GXP
2007 Mustang gt
2007 SRT8 Jeep

I think I have the Mustang and the GXP covered but the Jeep will more then likely get the win. Time will tell
