Default TSP 100mm MAF !

Just received it yesterday. Very nice piece. Here's a pic next to a stock one for anyone who gives two *****. Definitely worth the $249 introductory price.....

You have to call them to order it. There was a pre-order thing about 3 weeks ago.

This is going on a 457 CID engine. There wont be before and after dynos. I need the biggest freaking orafice I can get. You dont need this for a 346 CID.

Yeah, I would imagine. But my 402 is still running the stock MAF. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt any on my set-up.

Well I was told they will post an update in a bit. Proper fitment in a tight space is the challenge is my guess. They wont release something that isnt going to work... so my guess is its going to be a bit.

I waited for 6 weeks for the TSP MAF to come out, got tired of waiting and bought the Lingenfelter 100mm MAF instead. Between the Fast Toys lid, LPE MAF, NW TB and ported Fast 90, and tuning, I picked up 51 rwhp on my 408. I have to believe the MAF itself accounted for 6-8 rwhp.

SD tune and you don`t need one! My A4 408 with a big cam runs awsome with the SD tune!

I knew some yuckster would post up an SD tune cures all remark. Always a brainiac in the crowd somewhere.

Why you say it that way? Never said it was the cure all. It really works well for me and my set-up. Just put the thought out there for others. Sounds like you have been hammered about it! That was not my intention! Sorry!

Nope not hammered at all just sick of the SD tune bullshit that goes on on here.

This is about the 100mm MAF and is not a discusion of SD vs MAF tuning.
Try and be relevant if your going to post.

Everyone and their brother knows that SD is an option and will eliminate the MAF. You didnt help anyone.

On displacements up to a 408, a bigger than stock MAF does nothing but need a tune. I have made back to back passes on the dyno and the track with a properly tuned car that could go either SD or MAF (MAF out of the airstream) and found no difference at all. Now, keep in mind that this is thru a Fast90/NW 90 TB. I can also say that we have a car running 8.9's @ 152 MPH with a stock MAF on it.
