Loudmouth Question on an LS3 Vette...

Loudmouth Question on an LS3 Vette... Alright guys, I have used the search tools, but everything I have come up with has dealt with Loudmouths on LS1 F-Bodys...so my question is my dad recently purchased an 08 Vette and naturally wanted a louder exhaust, so naturally me being me I lead him to the LM1 which I personally love. Well basically he thought it was cool for a day but now he pretty much hates it, especially the drone, and wants to quiet it down. My question is if we switched in the LM2 will it make much of a difference in the droneing? He doesnt so much mind the loudness but the drone is what kills it in his opinion and since both of these mufflers are pretty much a straight through design will the LM2 really make much of a difference?
I don't think there is a way to quiet it significantly w/o a real muffler. I am wondering this myself. I have been looking into baffled bullet style mufflers but the back of my mind says it isn't going to cut the noise enough.

i cant say for sure but a few of my friends with mustangs have switched back and fourth with lm1s and 2s and proflows. the lm2 will give it a bit more sound and kill some rasp and makes it sound a lot better imo. but then again i love to be loud haha which in my case the lts w/ ory and lm1s is the loudest you can really go.
