Default TBSS throttle body compatability??

I have an 07 Trailblazer SS LS2. I can't really use any of the accessories for my project, and already bought a GTO intake manifold. The stock 90mm trailblazer SS throttle body bolts right up to the GTO intake, and the GMPP LS2 crate harness plugs into the trailblazer TB.

So, will it work, or will it not? I'd like to save some money by using it if I could.....

should be a fly by wire tb setup . as long as the tb you got isnt cable driven you should be good . though you can pick up either off an auction site or the for sale for the cheap . sounds right though , post some pics of what you are wanting to know works and we can help .

The ECM , TB, APP sensor need to match to work electrically correct. I just went through this on an LS2/ Volvo swap. I see you are a master tech. You'll see the differences (voltage wise) on a scanner. I ended up using a truck throttle body on a GTO intake. The GTO throttle blade will only open 85% with the truck operating system. Also the truck throttle blade opens in reverse of the GTO blade. I haven't had mine on the road yet to know if this will be a problem or not. Good luck!

I have the LS2 crate engine harness and ECM, the ECM from what I have read is an E67 from a CTS-V so who knows if it will open all the way, but after what you said I have a feeling that it will still have the same problem, or may try to open faster then desired. I work at a VW dealer so I doubt our scanner can read the GM ECM.

Yes. You should not have a problem. Just bolt on the TB and check to make sure the blade opens and closes smoothly (it should). Why don't you use PCM from your TB SS?

I don't have the tbss ecm. All I have is the long block, I also am not using the tbss wiring harness.

Either way I just picked up a 07 vette throttle body.
