ls7 engine onto 2002 t56
ls7 engine onto 2002 t56 Im using a ls7 block, clutch, flywheel etc, all stock.
This is going into a car with a 2002 t56.
Do I need to check or do anything with the hydraulic release, or is the stocker going to fit OK
I read something about the ls7 needing a different setup, but I could be mistaken.

I noticed that my ls7 clutch fingers, when measured from the face of the block, would be 7 mm closer to the block, than the ls6 style clutch, presume that the TOB can accomodate that. It all feels OK, and the clutch definately operates if I turn the crank with a long handle and have a frined operate the clutch, it definately releases and grabs, but I just wanted to verify i dont need to add a spacer behind the TOB to take up this extra "space"

I have a stroked L92 block and put a Ram dual disc clutch on. I've had a hell of a time getting the spacing right. I ordered the Ram spacer & had to have it machined down to get the correct release point on the clutch pedal.
