Ls2 carb and front Distributor my buddy has a LS2 engine from a c6 and he want to make it a carb with the front distributor what parts # should he go with ? and I herd he mast use a ford distrib what is the best one for cam only ?
it would be a lot cheaper to just get the msd box to fire the coils and get a carb intake
if you go with the front mount dist you need the cover, ford dist, special water pump to clear the new timing cover, and a whole ignition system anyways

LS Front Distributor Drive Cover = pn 88958679 (ford style dist, and mech fuel pump NOT included, requires use of aftermarket dampener).
LS2 Carb Intake = pn 88958675
Old School Valve Covers = pn 25534398 or pn 25534399
Water Pump = pn 89018052 (stock on all LS2/3/7 engines) I think you need spacers to clear the drive cover or the 'long' water pump from Wegner Motorsports.
