LS&/LSX "tall" decks...... Is the LS7 block available in a "tall" deck version? I believe that the LSX block is available in a "tall" deck version, but, currently, is available only in cast iron, not aluminum. I have been hearing a lot of rumors about the LSX block being made available in the near future in an aluminum version. That would be a nice option. It would also be cool 
to have the LS7 aluminum block available as a tall deck, as well. Anyone know any more about any of this?? Thanks.

World products currently has a tall deck block for the ls motors. I am not 100% sure on price, but its one of those high end pieces, Dart also has a billet custom block that can be machined for just about anything.
JohnnyGtO, Yes you can run alonger stroke, and get more cubes. Dart's new block is 114lbs, holds more coolant than a stock block and is made of 6061 billet aluminum. They claim it is stronger than cast iron. They claim unlimited deck height options. Hope this helps.
