So what heads would be best for my LS2. I was strongly considering L92's with the L76 intake. I know that these are the best bang for the buck. I need any suggestions just remember that I'm working on a budget. thanks

Set of used AFR's or TFS. If your going with the L92's then dont go to big on the cam and you should be ok. We speced a cam for a customer with the same setup looking for a daily driver cam. 224/232 113 +2

I have AFR's on sale but they are a few bucks more than the L92's, but you could use your current intake and save the coin there. So your looking at about a wash on the money if you were to go with my AFR's vs L92's and an intake setup.

For the money on a new build, I would start with stock L92's. You can't beat the power for the price. As far as the future goes, start with a L76 intake and get a FAST later. You can also port the L92's and get a lot more power out of them compared to any AFR head. I'm not knocking AFR heads, but in my opinion they can't compete for the price.

Look on eBay for a used set of L92's or better yet, a complete LS3 or L92 motor to build. Add a set of pistons and a cam and you're done.

A FAST intake wont fit the L92 heads. I think you would be better off keeping your FAST and getting some AFR's, just as 99blancoSS stated. You could even keep your cam and it woudl work very well with the AFR's, but would not be ideal with the L92's. And the L76 intake chokes a bit above 6200rpm , where as the FAST will cary on out farther into the RPM band. THe AFR's will have better tip repsonse and drivebility over the L92's as well.

Comp should have a FAST intake for the L92 heads pretty soon though.

We can get you setup on a fully CNC'd L92 casting and all the necessary L92/L76 components to change the valvetrain and induction over to match the heads. We can also get you setup on a cathedral port head like a PRC LS6 or 6.0L heads (depending on desired compression) much cheaper than what you will spend on an aftermarket casting cylinder head while still making essentially the same power. Shoot me some info. about your build and we can get you setup with a set of heads to meet the needs of your specific application.

Thanks!
