Your prolly taliking about the GM Performance Parts CNC L92/LS3 heads.
The set that I have has the L92 Valves. I think that when they made the run of heads they used complete L92 as their basis. At the time of the run the LS3 were not available.
I am going to order a set of the LS3 Valves and swap them out after a little dyno use.

Are the exhaust valves lighter also? Or are you just swapping the intake valves? One other question is would the ls7 springs work on these heads with a cam of 234/240 @.050 with a lift of .605/.609 ? Sorry for all the questions but I'm a long time Ford racer now switching over to the LS stuff!

From what I remember the exhaust valve is the same.
The installed height on the LS7 is taller. I would use a valve spring from Lunati.

Funny part is I've also been a GM Parts Manager for about 10yrs! Thanks for the help!
