dod. plug (bob EPP look) on to of the engine of the ls2 and ls3. there is the 8 thing that poke up with holes in it. epp plug those on there ls2 firehawk build.

For what its worth, I plugged them in my LS2 for added security. Several engine builders I know do it. I found out that one of the small rubber gaskets on the valley plate on mine was broken and leaking from the factory.
Some people might think it's not a big issue but if you think about it, if they started leaking enough, you'll lose oil pressure. It takes not long at all to plug them and doesn't hurt anything.

There is no problem with them plugging those passages, you don't use them. They are blocked off regardless, so you're just getting extra insurance that they won't leak
