Default LS7 rotating assembly w/LSX block???

Looking at putting a LS7 stock rotating assembly into something. Looks like the LSX blocks are a good choice and I might know where one is ready to go. What does everyone think about that build or should I step up the cubes with the LSX block. Just wanting to stick with N/A and 600rwhp would be good (th400 and a 12 bolt). Of course good sized cam is a must also. I haven't priced a bigger stroke assembly, but I know I can get a used LS7 assembly for $1500 which I didn't think was 2 bad. Combine that with about $1700-$1900 for the block and than just the next major purchase would be decent heads. Also, need to check out some sponsors but just trying to find somewhat used stuff to piece together something for around $5K, maybe $6K. Car is 69 Camaro just driving on nice days and playing at the track.
