Cam Recommendation Hello to all:
I'm new to this forum and would like to ask for recommendations for a cam for an LS2 Corvette. It's an A6 auto, stock converter, 2.56 rear,1 3/4" KooK's,
ported FAST 92, ported TB. What I am looking for is a slight lope at idle with a torque and HP increase. I have been considering the GM HOT cam, or an
LS7 cam. I also have a recommendation from Lunati for a new cam they just came out with: #60513 is 217/223 @ .050,.549"/.549", 113 LSA. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

The hot cam has a slightly larger split and a closer lobe sep. I do like the Lunati in your car because of the stock converter and gear. The LS2 Spring should work with that cam also. Lunati also has a 212/218 cam that has a little less lift. Your not going to see a huge difference between the two Lunati cams. But for a stock converter and gear I would lean toward the mild side.
I would stay away from the LS7 cam. It has too wide a lobe sep for my taste.
I run Lunati in my race car, very good guys!

If you decide to go with a larger than stock stall i would go with the Cartek 3x cam.
We have similar setups and i went with there 3X cam annd got 441rwhp and 386 rwfts. Here is the graph.
Here is a video of the idle.
The car runs strong and i have consistently cut 11.1`s@124-125mph.
Here are the timeslips.
This cam is great on the street to, no bucking/serging. As for the exact specs, you would have to give them a call. But its in a range of mid 23x/23x 116lsa.
