Help to spec a N/A 427 parts Need some help with building a normally aspirated 427. I have come across a set of LS7 heads and LS7 connecting rods. And I can get Mahle pistons at a decent price. Would ideally like to use a LS3/L98 block and bore out to fit.
Is it possible to use the LS7 rods & heads on a bored-out LS3/L98?
What crank & pistons (need to be Mahle brand) should I be using for a high compression motor / possible 150 N2O shot?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

I think you already answered your question on which piston, as you said you want to run a Mahle. Depends on how much compression you want? Pump gas? Race gas? Need alot more info...
