Default l92 build!

so i recently bought an l92 with 4,000 miles, and im torn between the new reluctor conversion box lingerfelter is about to release and just pulling the crank and changing the reluctor wheel, anyone see any problems with the new box? if i replace the reluctor ill have it profesionally done so im expecting the price to be about the same. i guess my main objection to just replacing the wheel is that the motor and bearings have only 4000 miles, and my engine builder says i need to replace them if we pull it, it just seems unecesary as they should have 100,000+ miles of life left..

also any suggestions as far as cams go? specs and manufacturers? im thinking about bumping the compression up since the pistons come with valve reliefs factory, and because ive heard l92s dont like huge cams, anyway, makes sense to me.

i plan on puting the motor into my 98 trans am, not going too crazy with it just a cam only motor, something fun but its also my only car and will be seeing something around 7,000 miles, thanks and sorry for the long post!!

250 and they begin shipping next week, and i have those rod bearings from you but my builder said he doesnt mess with cranks so id have to involve a second shop, thats my main problem, have you ever replaced the wheel what is involved in the actual removal from the crank, maybe hes never changed one out but my builder acted like it was a big deal?

cool, ill look into that.
haha dude did you notice the motor mount bolt that was broke off in the block, that bad boy is STUCK. i drilled it out and used a bolt extractor, and broke that off in the broken bolt.. even my cobalt bits wouldnt drill through that stupid hardened steel extractor
