Default 6.0 heads milled

i have a set of 02 6.0 heads i believe they are (317)s .... i would like to get the most comp possible... i have been told u can mill .050 and bring them too 59cc... but would that not cause intake fitment issue?.... any body have any ideas...

.040 is a good amount to mill after that u might have aligment issues
.040 mill = 10.25:1 scr on stock 9.4:1 lq4

From what I've read the general rule of thumb is .005" milled = 1cc off of the Chambers.

I ran some 317's last year, that I milled .050 on the deck, and milled the intake flange .040. They worked great, I also used cometic .040 gaskets.

VEEE8... did u have them angle milled? or just flat mill

Flat milled, then they had to reset the machine and do the intake flanges. It is a pain in the *** to do the intake flange because of the valve cover flange. I can't remember the exact cost, but they pretty much had to set the machine up twice.
