Default crank for a ls2 stroker

my friend has a new G8 and we are looking at options for his engine. He wants to build a 400+ cubic inch engine for it. He has a new ls2 block already, but we are wondering what crank to put in it.

What are the options for a ls2 58x reluctor wheel

callies lunati eagle where can we find pricing for just the crank?

thanks

His best bet is to call a sponser, like TSP, and just order a complete rotating assembly.

I would go with a complete Rotating Assembly, it may be cheaper than buying everything seperatley.

my first question is,what are the goals for the motor hp wise and is it going ro be n/a n2o for forced ind. Then you can decide on the crank to be used

The car will be turbo car..........prob a APS kit, but maybe a custom single kit. Looking to make around 800 on a mustang dyno.

Yeah, we will order a rotating assembly when the time comes, but right now I'm trying to decide which crank will be the best. The crank needs to handle over 1000 at the flywheel, which shouldn't be a prob for an aftermarket crank.

thanks

i would run the callies compstar crank and rods, and either wiseco or diamond pistons depending on the compression ratio, that will easily hold the hp.I do lots of f/i stuff so let let know if i can help you at all

thanks shawn I will look on your website or just give you a call when we do this, we got a lot of other things to work out between now and then with it, but it should be a sweet ride when we get everything done.
