Cam good for blower and NA?
Cam good for blower and NA? Want to go a head and do my cam, but planningon putting a blower (A&A kit) ina few months, so how do blower cams work with out the blower? will it even make any more power? i am sure a little but?
We recently did a CheaTR cam in an 04 Vette which was waiting for an A&A kit. The car picked up 38RWHP over stock with stock manifolds. We also did a Vig 2800 converter at the same time so the power gains were actually higher when you take into account the looser converter. The car is now making 511RWHP with 8.5 lbs of boost and a set of ARH headers w/cats.
The LS2 CheaTR would work well for you with the LS2. I would figure on mid 500's easy...

you saying i can put a cam that will work good now and latter, and put my car in the 500rwhp rang??? thats like a litle over 100hp gain? i am just under 400 now with nothing but a Headers, and full exhaust. and a tune.

The Cheatr cam has worked great for us a blower cam as well. On your C6 you will have a nice gain now and when you add the blower. If you want a some lope then you could do something like a 224/232 115. Give me a call and 'll be happy to try and help you out. We mainly work on vettes. Check out our Stage 5 options.
