Default LS2 Head Milling Question

I'm working with a 2006 TBSS with stock bottom end. Is it safe/wise to take .025" off of Livernois Stage 3R Heads?

243 Castings
2.100 Intake Valves
1.575 Exhaust Valves
Using Stock GM MLS Gasket (I believe they are .056")

Will this work with a 233/236 .610/640 Lift Camshaft?

From a calculator I've used, milling .025 will put the heads at 59.83cc. This would make the engine 11.2:1?

Thanks!

Eric

You need to be real careful with piston to valve clearance on a intake valve that large. I'd talk with Livernois about the valve drop so you can make sure you'll have proper clearances.

Thanks Jason.

Eric, I believe I spoke with someone from IPS that you know (or maybe it was you?) about this. The heads themselves would have no issue from this, but the PTV would obviously be reduced. If you aren't against notching then you wont have an issue, however I could pretty much guarantee you would have to notch with that cam and the heads milled that far...

Thanks,
Andy
