crank sensor from blown up engine

Are the crank sensors supposed to survive in a detonation-resulted scenario where a pistons shoots out the block and damages every other thing in the engine? How rigid are those things (if at all?)

Im thinking my cars problem (fires for a second and dies) might be because of that. I pulled the sensor off my friends damaged LS7 and plugged it into the Warhawk.

What are my chances that getting a new sensor would solve the problem?

Is the crank signal good when it is running? Are the RPM's holding steady while scanning it?

steady? I wish the vehicle fires up and shuts in 0.5seconds.

Could be a VATS problem. Has it been retuned since the rebuild?

What reluctor type are you using and what is the crank sensor designed for? There is a different sensor for each reluctor.
