Best head/intake setup?
I am curious about what my future upgrade options are gonna be, so what is the best head/intake combo for pretty wide rpm band power?...
I am wondering which head intake combo will support power band I want - think a torque curve like a cheater cam but with power levelling off at 7000 rpm instead of 6400rpm, and staying flat to 7500rpm with power peaking at 550rwhp+.
There being 3 options that I can see:
Cathedral port - Guessing
TF/AFR 235cc head & ported FAST LSX intake
LS7 port:
ETP/All pro 4" bore LS7 head & ported GM LS7 intake
L92 port:
Mast Motorsport L92 & ported FAST LSXr intake
I am pretty sure that any of the setups would get the power band I want but I am thinking that the LS7 combo would be most likely to do what I want and stay pretty mild.
I know that each setup would need its own cam, my aim is for it to be as mild (street manners) and easy to tune as possible.
