is LQ4 a good foundation?
is LQ4 a good foundation? found a complete LQ4 engine, needs rebuild. i was wondering what my options were with it as far as shortblock wise. dont wana do anything outrageous mostly wana make N/A power with a lil nitrous use. I have about a $800-1200 budget for the rebuild. wat are my options?
does between $800-1000 to do the machine work sound right? or is that high? what would be a good cam choice? will be reusing stock heads for the time being..

yea it includes assembly. its an 02 LQ4. if i was to mill the stock heads which would be the best cam selection? u was thinkin like the magic stick 3 or torquer v2..would the stock pistons and rods be suitable?
stock rods and pistons are fine untill you stroke it. the cam is up to you, just search on here and see what you like. the vehicle it is going into will also determine the cam.
