Im getting this engine back together and looking inside the oil pump there are two moveable rings, the spline teeth on them mate with the spline on the crank. My question is 3 of the teeth have a groove machined through the center on every other tooth, should you line up the grooved teeth front and back rings or stager the two. Perhaps it dosent matter, I think there grooved to allow oil through. If you have built this motor and understand what the heck im talking about, I would appreciate hearing the assembly method.
