Default LS2 427 upgrade time

Here’s what I’m working with now, Complete 7.0 Liter (427 cubic inch) MTI Super-Stroker Includes: Resleeved LS2 Block. 4340 Forged Callies Steel Crank, Billet Steel Compstar Connecting Rods, Forged Aluminum Wiseco Ceramic Coated Pistons.
MTI Stage III Ported & Polished Racing LS1 Cylinder Heads includes- Ferrea Stainless Steel 2.080” intake & 1.60” exhaust valves, custom double valve springs, titanium retainers, custom spring locators & extensive port & polished work.
MTI custom computer tuning, includes complete recalibration of vehicle computer such as engine Rev Limiter, idle speed 8 timing / air fuel maps.
Comp Cams OEM lifters, MTI underdrive pulley package, F.A.S.T. 90/90, Complete gasket set utilizing custom head gaskets and MTI hardened push rods. I’ve had this set up for three years now and I’m just wanting more. What heads could I go with to help make that happen? or what other internal changes could I make to make more Hp? Any info or comments wanted and or sponsor info

Looks like the heads are going to be the barrier. Even with extensive work the LS1 head will only support so much and 427 cubes is to much. How about some LS7 heads or maybe some 225, 235 TFS heads?

The LS7 heads... check your bore size to see if they are compatable.

There's a thread on the Corvette Forum discussing porting LS7 heads...

Seems like most of the HP. increase comes from raising the compression ratio.

I went with trick flows and I'm happy with my choice. You may also want to look at All Pros. I've only ever seen one car done with them but it made good power with a small cam.
