Default LS7 intake valve failures?

Anyone heard of the stock titanium intake valves failing? A local shop told me that I need to change them that he heard there was problems with them breaking. I had them ported and dual spings installed at TSP a while back, now I am concerned. They are going on a 440 lsx twin turbo with a .62x 63x lift.

Over 29K on the Z without any problems. Nothing.

You may want to contact Del West and ask them this question.

Titanium isn't really a good material for high heat situations, like twin turbos. I would go with a good steel valve instead. You don't really need to turn high RPM with boost.

Other than that, the titanium LS7 valves are fine...as long as the hardened caps stay on.

while titanium isnt as good as stainless when it comes to heat,i would never use anything else but titanium for a valve that big.A stainless valve that big will lose control very easily.
