Head Cam Advice Needed!
ok i am doing a head cam swap on my 2000 C5 coupe automatic with 3:15 rear and this is what i have bought so far
vararam
arp head bolts
ls6 heads
tpis headers
corsa catback
ls6 intake
ported tb ls1
ok here is where i need the advice and some info.
1. do i mill the heads for better compression and if so how much?
2. what size push rods do i need ? 7.4?
(i am thinking i am going with a comp cam 224 228 588 588 114)
3.what valve springs are recommended?
4.I am also looking to buy a under drive pulley so do i need to pin it? and also will the stock bolt work on it?
5. what size injectors will i need for the following setup? 42?
6.I am also thinking a stall but nothing big something around a 2600-3000 what would be recommended for the above setup?
7. and finally what kind of rwhp should i expect from alll of the above installed?
thanx

Rick I would have your heads milled down to 60cc chambers and 7.4 prs should be right but you should call comp to be sure because if you mill the heads the pushrod length will change, u could get comp springs 2 but the 918s have cost a LSX motors their lives, 36 lb injectors would be more than enough, don't know about the stall cause Im a M6 person, I see 380 rwhp and 365rwtq and it would drive like it was almost stock.
the stock bolt is a TTY so you need a new one,
udpulley and new bolt http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=629&catid=20
