l92 Lifter cylinder deactivation question
Does anyone know how to tell if an l92 engine has the cylinder deactivation lifters without removing the heads??

Yes,
If your valley cover(under intake manifold) is bumpy it has Active Fuel mangament (AFM) If its smooth it does not have AFM.

And if you dont have the intake off, the best way to tell is whether there is a connector at the rear of the manifold on top of the valley cover.
It is in the shot above behind the oil pressure sensor.
