Default L92 head question...need opinions

hello,
i am in the middle of collecting parts for a L92 418 stroker engine an have ran into a possible problem. i already had one head that came with my motor, and other was damaged from dropped intake valve. anyway i ordered a new head and the casting number is difference and the ports are too. here is what i measured for ports
casting number
823 (newer one) 5364
ex. length 1.586 ex. length 1.558
ex. height 1.401 ex. height 1.310
in. length 1.234 in. length 1.253
in height 2.555 in. height 2.566

i know its not a lot but is visably different. is this going to be a concern or can i get away with running it the way they are? i cannot return the head because it was a special order and valve seals, ss valves and dual patriot springs are already installed.
opinions would be great. thanks in advance

I would make it a point to get another 823 casting if you can find one.

I have said for 2 years now, the 823 casting is better because the exhaust ports are noticeably bigger. Glad someone came on here and validated it.

Tell me did you notice a difference in the finish inside the ports as well?

I made a couple of measurements from the valve guides to port walls and they seem to be the same. the finish is of equal quality. I think that the actual port openings were modified? do you guys think that opening up the ports a little to match the other would be okay? i guess worst comes to worst the bare head is $220. it was just sucks that i have already installed the dual springs and seals and had them decked.
