Reluctor wheel question.
I am going to be doing an engine swap for a buddy of mine. I am removing a forged ls2 from his C5Zo6 and swapping it with a stock ls2 out of a C6 Vette.
I am assuming that the reluctor wheels are going to need to be swapped on these engines. Is this somthing a normal machine shop can takle? Or am I going to need to go to a crank shop or somthing else?
Thanks guys!
easy way to tell is to look at the crank position sensor color. if its black, then its 24x, if its gray, then its 58x
