Is GM canceling the Ls7?

I heard from a member at pro-touring.com that GM is no longer making the Ls7. Is this true or does it only apply to the crate motors?

No, GM is NOT discontinuing the LS7 engines. I think this guy probably had some remans he was wanting to get premium price out of. We inquired in three different divisions of GM and all said the same thing "no, we have no plans to discontinue the LS7 engine program anytime in the near future and there are no plans to offer the LS7 engine in a re-manufactured version in the near future".
We have 3 of the GMPP LS7 crate engines in stock now. Just thought we had better set the record straight for everyone that has read this here or on another forum. "GM IS NOT DISCONTINUING THE LS7 ENGINE PROGRAM!"
