Doing homework on a future build come inside! Ok so I found a really nice roller chassis that I think I might want to turn into a project car. The car has no engine or gas tank and I don't know about the transmission yet. Its a 1999 z-28. I would like to get an lq4 motor and add boost. My question is how much boost can a stock lq4 motor take? As in can I keep the stock pistons rods crank etc... I will be changing the intake, cam, and will swap heads if I can safely keep the stock internals. This will be a daily driven car can longevity will be key so I don't wana do anything that is guna hurt me in the long run.
