Yep. But, like we are talking about...you think teh Z06 owners want to know that you can buy an Escalade (or teh like) with basically the same motor/heads?
I agree with you though. But, since I could never affford a Z06, easy for me to say that too

Uniqueness allows for marketability. L92's for higher production engines, LS7's for enthusiast applications.

You got it. Sure would be nice though to find LS7's in trucks in teh boneyard

go solid roller and less angle on the intake valve. ie avoid 23 deg heads and run a solid roller, light pistons good ring pack, decent heads and it will make big genuine power(on engine dyno) otherwise with that much cc u will hit brick walls everywhere regardless of cam. The best way to get the job done right on big stroke smallish bore on LSX is do not skimp on the heads, LS7X warhawk 12 deg heads are a good starting platform, less shrouding better cylinder fill and more power.

As mentioned above we are the exclusive dealer for GM LSX shortblocks thru Proline Race Engines.. We have built several 440 LS7 combos that produce 590/540 to 615/560 depending on camshaft/compression. To date all of our 440s have used TFS cathedral port cylinder heads with ported FAST intakes.

How much spray could an LSX 440 safely handle? 200? Less? More?

Can you use the LS7 Ti rods for a 440ci LS7 based build or are they the wrong length?
