ls3 valve cover clearance??

ls3 valve cover clearance?? i just got my ls3 valve covers for my ls3 in the mail, i thought they would clear my yella terra 1.7s and g6x3 cam, i think i read on here that they would clear, but right now they arent...
what im thinking about doing is taking off the baffles, but these are brand new so i dont wanna do this if it wont work... these arent like standard baffles there sheetmetal tack welded to the underside of the cover, any insight would be greatly appreciated!!
edit: i think it would work if i took the sheetmetal baffles off, im just not crazy about the thought of cutting up brand new 200 buck valve covers.. any ideas that dont include spacers?

You've already answered your own question. I'd recommend you go back to stock rockers anyway but if you are dead set on running Yella Terra's (or any aftermarket rocker for that matter) you are going to have to modify the valve cover or run a spacer.

parts taxi, and they were super cheap compared to the dealer... it did take like a week to get them though... they were 376 ci valve covers for the 08 vette....
i never had stockers and the dealer wanted as much for them as yella terra so i went with yella..
i just realized i didnt take the spark plugs out and that was why it was so hard to turn over... stock covers with baffles fit fine, mods feel free to delete this thread if you want sorry guys.....
