cam gurus needed alright all you cam gurus lets compare these two cams for performance and sound, going to buy one of them but not decided on which one yet
first 237/242 .603/.609" 112lsa
and second 273/277 .557/.558" 112lsa duration at .050 220/224
i know what the numbers mean but i have no clue the difference between the two in how they will act
any other suggestions also welcome

Those two cams are as different as night and day....what are your goals and what other mods do you have or are you going to use...that is the question..one cam is large and the other is mild..it is not the cam but the correct combination of the parts that will accomplish your HP/TQ goal that is important...we need more info to be able to help you with your project..
It looks like the correct duration on the 272/277 would be 223/227 @ .050

the company advertises the 273/277 as 220/224 @ .050 but idk
i like the rough idle sound of the ms3 which is the first one im not sure how the second on sounds idk of anyone who has one in a comparible motor but thats my tuners favorite cam for an ls1
the cars on its way to be a nice cruiser with some ***** behind it, its not an all out car and i dont go to the strip often the only time i ever get on it is by myslelf on open country roads really and the occasional cocky mustang drivers i love disappointing
its got h/c/i in its near future the only internals im touching is the cam unless i have to, im undecided on heads so far got a few different ones in mind just not decided yet and a 90mm oval ls6 intake
im thinkin about 450rwtq is about as far as this project will go, basically following my tuners build he had on his ls1 vette that made 480 to the wheels before the ls7 went into it
