Default Building a 402 have a choice to make between two sets of heads....

This is a budget build, eagle 402 combination with around 12:1 compression (flat tops).

I have a choice between ported 243 castings (supposedly done by livernois) or a set of out of the box L92 heads.

I will upgrade springs on either head that is chosen. I will have a cam custom made, probably ordered through patrick G.

Which head makes the most sense for a good power street/strip car, might be sprayed lightly but will be concentrating on N/A power. I will choose intake based on the head, I would guess an ls2 intake for the 243s and an L76 for the L92 heads.

Please advise.

I have L92's on my 441 with the L76 intake. Can't beat the price and they flow well throught the stock intake. If you're eventually going to go solid roller then L92's probably not the best choice.
