Any concerns about running a taller deck height that is an additional plate instead of being built into the block like a warhawk block?

I'm considering the 500cid motor for my street car but wanted to get some opinions here.

I know SAM has it in their car and ERL has it in their C5 but cannot find anyone else with the combo that has put a good amount of miles through the motor.
