What's Wrong With This 402
Thanks..... With a new trans and a tune + the car not sure I could afford a new 92mm intake and TB. I would love to know how much this car would pick up. Like I said before, a 402 with a LS6 intake & TB has to make for an engine gasping for air.
The motor was built by Wheel 2 Wheel outside Detroit (1,500 miles on the motor and trans).
Here are some pics of the car. The paint job is spot on! I don't care for the stuff on the nose of the car but other than that it was done right. The guy who owns the car has been painting for about 20 years. The interior was removed, doors, hatch etc then the inside and out side was sprayed before putting the car back together.
I live right in front of the new Saline high school. Right off MI Ave and State Street area. Do you get back up here much?

As far as the car goes, awesome. Like you, I don't care for the bit on the front, maybe he can "delete" it? Other than that, I really like the look of it. I would certainly buy it if I were in the market for a new f-body. Although, I would highly consider the new Camaro SS
Fix the trans, and get the new exhaust with a retune, and I think you will be happily surprised. Just stay away from vector/stenod for a dyno if you want higher dyno numbers. Their dyno's read LOW, but if you get a dyno done before and after, it'll be a much better gauge of the power gained.
