down on topend power,need direction? help.
down on topend power,need direction? help. My t.a w/402ci,ported l92,stock l76,m6,12 bolt w/4.11's ran a 10.8 128mph. Dyno was 517hp 462tq. I dropped my car off at a speed shop to get the trans re-built and they had my car for three months. I went to the dyno again the same day to see if I gained more power with break in miles. I was down 33hp 30lbs tq. This is the same dyno I always use. I go to the track and only run a 12.0 @ 114mph W.T.F. To make this shorter I found my clutch was bad due to some oil getting on it. I put back in my old clutch That had only 1,000mi on it back in. Both clutches are spec st3+ and both had their own flywheels. After this,I am pulling hard ti'll 4,500rpm's then it seems to fall on its ***. I have checked to see if all my coils are firing,they seem to be,I checked to see if anything was blocking air and if the mass air was clean. I changed the plugs,did oil change and even pulled the intake to see if the heads were ported and I dropped the oil pan to see if this was my motor. Remember the shop did have it for three months. All seems to check out. I'M LOST!!!!!!!!! Any help would be great,I now have no idea where to look. THANKS FOR ANY HELP. Mike c. I don't know if this would do it,but I do have a twisted axle in my rear on pass-side. The car still drives normal and smooth.
