Default recomend intake for 402

i have a 402 10.6 c/r, patriot stage 3 heads, 236/242 .650 lift. pacesetter long tube headers and off road y, loudmouth ext. 6 speed, 42lb inj. racetronique fuel pump and wirring, now i have stock maf, tb and ls6 intake, some says not worth the money to up-grade to bbk intake and bbk td on 346 but i think i need it for 402 and should see a good difference, how mutch hp have you seen?

If you want to upgrade your LS6 intake, the way to go is the Fast 92mm ported intake. The BBK intake is like a LS6 intake, i dont think you wil see great gain. The Fast is expensive but you will see real gains.

I agree, the FAST 92mm intake gained 21rwhp on my stock 6.0L. Its worth about 10hp over the LS6. It all depends on your budget, but if your building a 402, there shouldnt be any question that the FAST will be great for you.

i was considering bbk 85mm because of price, fast is kind of pricy, any body running bbk

IMO, I'd go with the FAST 92/92 as well. You can get the intake and TB from Texas-Speed for about $1100.00.
I bought mine during a X-mas sale last year and it was 1,079. + Shipping and it was well worth it. Mine is on a 403 ls2 stroker BTW and it helped out quite a bit from when it had the LS6 intake on it. The BBK is not gonna show much improvement IMO. Also the FAST 92 has shown even more power gains when ported. I know there are a few places that sell them Pre-Ported for about $900-$1100. Ron at vengeance just had a sale for $899 + Shipping. Then Add a TB for 350 and you'll pick up ALOT more hp than with the BBK.

Either way, Good Luck.
Just don't want you to make the same mistake I did and have to buy another 1 later b/c the BBK is holding you back. In that case, You'll end up spending more $.
