Good Luck with the build.... I'm planning on going with an LS3 427 with TFS 235's here in the near future myself. Your going to love the new found power. Hell my LS2 403 with Stock LS6 heads is NASTY on the street and fun at the Track too (lol), let alone a 416 with some TFS heads.
I have been a best of 10.993 at 125.61 mph w/a 1.659 60'... So a 416 should be good for mid 10's N/A with a well matched combo and all the other mods to plant the power without breaking!

Still need some advice on pistons.
11:5 to 1 compression, with TFS 235 (70cc).

I would always get more ci's if I could. More ci's the more the motor could produce. I think the 416ci would be nice with the 235 trick flow. Great choice in heads by the way. Your fast combo will feed it. I have a 402ci and wish I had more under the hood. Goodluck to ya.
LT1FORMULA-Thats the build I may do down the road. Should be nasty in your car. Goodluck to you too.

Thanks Mike... It should make some great power. Not to mention I'm talking with 99BlancoSS (Chris) with specing out a 427 from Eric at HKE. He can build some damn good engines, and Almost everyone I have seen has been in the 10's and 9's NA.

Good Luck OP, and I'd look into some Wiseco Flat Top Pistons with between -2 to -4 cc valve reliefs cut in them. That will put you in the ball park depending on what thickness head gasket you run.

I have Diamond -2cc Flat tops and I'm between 11.5 and 12.0:1 SCR.

Yeah I'm looking at Wiseco Flat Tops, but all I found is Wiseco +5 Domes,
or Wiseco -15 Dish. But still researching. I had the Wiseco in my 382 .
