Please tell me what sensor this is???

I'm finishing up an Ls3 swap into an 04 Silverado and have no clue what sensor this is. We are using the 04 Harness and a Lingenfelter Converter box for the cam and crank signals. I'm just curious as to what this sensor does...

Knock sensor. Gen IV has left and right knock sensors. In most cases the Gen III sensors are relocated from the valley to a similar location, as there are no bosses in the GIV valley.

Thanks a lot guys. Owner had already put in the knock sensors as stated above and this looked like it would have been a Gen IV knock sensor I just was not sure.
