Machineing a LQ4
I have a 04 LQ4 with 28K on the clock, sadly it has 2 spun bearings so it needs some love. I am looking at a stroker kit and from what I have discussed with the seller and with Callie, the crank and rods will drop right in with no machining of the block, however, since the bottom end has to spun bearings I will still need to have it line honed, plus I will need to open up the cylinders for the larger pistons, I would have it done with a torque plate.
My question is how much on the average do you think it would cost to have the block cleaned up and machined, as well as the bottom end assembled. I forgot to mention that I would still need the rotating assembly balanced.
As for the rod, cam and main bearings, I was thinking of going with KINGs or Clevite 77. What about rings; I may bottle feed it, but sooner or later I will be doing a turbo setup.
I don't expect a 100% answer on the price, I am just looking for a ballpark figure so I know what to somewhat expect
Thanks guys!

did it spin main bearings or rod bearings? either way i would reccomend having alignbored. balancing can go about any way. Could be about $150 on up depending on what needs done. the alignbore is about $200 and a bore and tq plate is about $200.
