Having Issues with l92 heads and valve covers

just about ready to finish up the engine and put the valve covers back on......
Well the driver side fits with no issues but the passenger is hitting somewhere. I took the black plastic pieces out and it fit a little better but still isnt right. Just wondering if any one else has had these issues. The heads are the l92 heads with the l92 intake rocker and stock exhaust rocker

You will need to grind a little on the baffle.

Good info. I had heard that the covers need to be modified to work.

If you have the older style valve covers then yeah... but the newer style ( that don't have the plastic baffles ) should work just fine...

You need a valve cover with a baffle like the one pictured on the bottom, you have one like on the top....

you would be correct, my car is a 2000 model year so whatever came on them. The driver side doesnt have the baffle and the pass. does. Im just cutting out the support for the baffle and it will work. I started on it again today and it was barely hitting. Thanks for the info.
